What you can resell

This programme is focused on Physical and Virtual Device Backup, including:

  • Windows/Linux Servers & Workstations
  • NAS Devices (Synology, QNAP, etc.)
  • Virtual Machines (VMware/Hyper-V)
  • Note: SaaS Backup (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace) is currently a direct-only service and is not included in the reseller programme.

 

Operational workflow

  1. Trial: create your reseller account and run a real backup + restore test.
  2. Commercial model: decide how you package backup (per endpoint/server/VM/NAS) and set retail pricing.
  3. Onboard clients: deploy agent(s), set schedules, and document a basic restore/runbook for your own support process.
  4. Day-2 ops: monitor failures, adjust retention if needed, and test restores periodically.

Support boundaries

To maintain our lean, fixed-net pricing, we operate a clear Tiered Support model:

  • Partner Responsibility (Tier 1): The Partner remains the primary point of contact for the end-user, handling initial setup, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Deep Blue Backup (Tier 2/3): We provide comprehensive “back-end” support to the Partner. We handle infrastructure-level issues, complex recovery scenarios, and technical escalations to ensure your clients stay protected.

 

No Contractual Lock-In

We believe in the quality of our service. Our partnership is built on flexibility, with no rigid long-term contracts and a cancel-anytime policy that keeps you in total control of your service delivery.

  1. Is this self-serve?
    You can start with the 14-day trial and run a full backup/restore test. Partner support is available if you want onboarding help.
  2. Can I set my own retail pricing?
    Yes. You buy bulk storage and choose how you charge your clients (per endpoint/server/VM/NAS).
  3. Do I need to run any infrastructure?
    No. The backup platform is hosted; you provision and manage client backups.
  4. How do restores work?
    You can restore during the trial and should incorporate restore tests into your standard client runbook.
  5. Is the Deep Blue Backup brand visible?
    Optional. Some partners keep it as a quiet backend; white labelling is available if you want your own brand.
  6. Is there a minimum number of clients?
    No. You can start with one client during the trial. After that, you keep the reseller account only if it makes sense for your business.
